不知為何…寶貝佑最近對“Saint Patrick's Day"(愛爾蘭的聖派翠克節）極有興趣？(竟不是關心Halloween?)
佑早上一直看「大家說英語」此篇主題的內容，還找迷一起“act":初、中、高級的對話^^b
佑：You are Amy and I act Tom , ok ?
People wear green on St. Patrick's Day
because Ireland is so green .
~在這期的雜誌(佑每天早上都要求要聽「大家說英語」),
不管聽(CD)哪個主題,佑都說他是"Tom"!
而迷被分配是"Amy" ; ㄇㄟ美則是"Pam"
迷也不知其原因??

It is a custom . He explains St. Patrick's Day to Amy.
It is an Irish holiday. Then Pam comes into the store.
She wants a green skirt. She doesn't want trouble this year .
What does she mean by trouble ?
She didn't wear green last year .
Everyone pinched her!
Ireland is a green country with lots of sheep .
When the sun shines , it's very beautiful .
St.Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17.
Tom learns the reason . Saint Patrick died on that day.
But people are'nt celebrating his death .
They chose that day because
they don't know the date of his birthday.When Irish people first came to America ,
many of them were poor .
Most Americans didn't treat them well .
On St. Patrick's Day , some Irish people
wore green as a symbol of their country.
They were proud to be Irish.
But some Irish people were not proud ,
so they didn't were green . Other Irish people
pinched them for having pride .
Patrick is a saint of Ireland ,
but he is not actually Irish .
He was born in Wales.
When he was about 16 years old ,
pirated captured him and took him to Ireland .
They sold Patrick to a rich man , and
he took care of the man's sheep .
During this time , Patrick started to believe in God .
After six years , Patrick escaped and then
became a monk in France .
Later he decided to go back to Ireland and
tell people about God .
Patrick taught there for almost 30 years.
He taught people about God , and he also taught them
how to read .

馬迷心發現:
佑唸「大家說英語」雜誌的對話和補充資訊的文章可以算是他第一次沒看圖直接唸文字。
可能他大多疑問都在聽CD的講解中解惑,CD中不懂的也已額外詢問迷,因此他對這些內容能理解,沒什麼問題。
而且自己念一唸會觸類旁通加以explain(單字字義或是對話內容的因果)~很優^^b
btw,
佑看雜誌插畫的幸運草圖形有疑問~
佑: shamrock不是三葉草嗎?這裡怎麼都畫4葉草?

I'm wearing green T-shirt and green shorts because St. Patrick's Day .
~佑原穿橘色上衣+深藍色褲子,聽了CD後刻意換一套衣服!
呼~(深吐一口氣.......)
終於打完了!
